Literary Agency Support Assistant

An exciting opportunity has arisen at BookBrunch Limited for a skilled and enthusiastic support assistant to join their team.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent administrative skills, with a strong ability to work independently as well as part of a close-knit team. They will have a keen interest in the literary agency business, particularly in the area of international rights sales.
This is an entry-level position, providing an excellent chance to learn the inner workings of the agenting business and build a long-term career.
About the Role:
Responsibilities will include general administrative support for agency colleagues, preparing our international rights catalogue, regularly liaising with subagents and scouts, organising schedules for book fairs, creating rights packets for upcoming books, updating internal databases, and liaising with the social media department.
We are looking for candidates who have a genuine appreciation for the types of books we represent and a particular interest in international rights. They should be keen to understand how selling rights works and relish the challenge of building a rights department.
The successful candidate will work on an ad hoc basis from our office in London, with flexible working arrangements available.
The salary for this role is approximately £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
