Job Title: Class 2 Driver

Driver Hire is seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 Driver to join our team in Basingstoke and Newbury. As a Class 2 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to our clients' customers and depots across the region.

Responsibilities:
  • Multi-drop and collection work daily across the geographical region of the depot
  • Manual handling and loading of products
  • Maintaining the cleanliness of the interior and exterior of the vehicle
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Working independently and unsupervised, managing routing to ensure planned collections are achieved
  • Conducting daily safety checks on the vehicle and equipment
Requirements:
  • Valid driver CPC qualification and digital tachograph card
  • ADR or HIAB qualification (if applicable)
  • No more than 6 points for minor offences
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Good organisation skills
Working Hours and Pay:
  • Minimum of 8 hours per day (full day) or 4 hours (half day)
  • £17.50 per hour (Mondays to Fridays, dependent on assignment)
  • Enhanced rates available at weekends and bank holidays
