About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Care and Support Assistant to join our team at McCarthy Stone's Barnhill Court estate in Chipping Sodbury.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional care and support to our residents, enabling them to live their later life to the fullest.
  • Deliver housekeeping and domestic support across the estate, including apartment cleans.
  • Support and encourage residents to participate in various activities that promote their health and wellbeing.
  • Assist with booking appointments, arranging transport, and escorting residents on visits as needed.
  • Help with shopping and other daily tasks to ensure residents' comfort and independence.
Requirements
  • A warm and friendly individual with a passion for making a difference in the lives of older people.
  • Experience in a care or support environment is ideal, but not essential.
  • Able to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Driven to deliver exceptional customer service and a commitment to excellence.
  • QCF Health and Social Care (Adults) Level 2 qualification or equivalent is desirable, but consideration will be given to candidates with alternative qualifications and relevant experience.
