Job Title: Principal Contract Manager

AWE Plc is seeking a highly skilled Principal Contract Manager to join our Commercial team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing commercial and contract performance leadership to project teams, ensuring effective management of project and commercial risk.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead strategic planning and governance for large and complex infrastructure projects
  • Manage, develop, and mentor a team that administers contracts and resolves disputes
  • Support the procurement team in advising on contract options management and working with tier 1 suppliers
  • Manage KPI reviews and planning to ensure contract performance
Requirements:
  • Commercial contract management experience, ideally with knowledge of NEC contracts and contract management tools such as CEMAR
  • Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex contractual arrangements
  • Managing large complex infrastructure contracts to ensure they deliver value and objectives
  • Managing multiple stakeholders and priorities
  • Working at a similar level within a comparable organisation or industry, such as MOD, Nuclear, Defence, or Regulated

Security Clearance:

You will need to obtain and maintain the necessary security clearance for the role, which will be funded by AWE Plc.

Hybrid Working:

Hybrid working is available for this role on an informal, non-contractual basis, typically 2 days onsite per week.
