About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced High Intensity CBT Therapist to join our team at Turning Point. As a key member of our clinical team, you will be working closely with our experienced therapists to deliver high-quality, evidence-based treatments to clients with moderate to severe depression.

As a Dual Trained Therapist in CBT and EMDR, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, providing assessments, evidence-based interventions, and therapy sessions. You will also have access to regular clinical supervision and training, as well as opportunities for career development and progression.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-intensity CBT and EMDR therapy to clients with moderate to severe depression
  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans in collaboration with clients and clinical team members
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions and therapy sessions
  • Participate in regular clinical supervision and training
  • Contribute to the development of the service and the improvement of clinical outcomes

Requirements

  • Experience of working in mental health, preferably in a therapeutic setting
  • Proven ability to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients and work effectively with colleagues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work across a variety of days and hours, including weekends and evenings
