Head of Financial Operations | Transactional

We are excited to partner with a leading Travel & Leisure Group to find an experienced Finance Manager to lead their Financial Operations team.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing shared services, implementing new systems, and improving processes. They will be responsible for delivering scalable finance operations, covering key transactional processes including Purchase to Pay (P2P).

The successful candidate will provide a best-in-class finance operations service to finance stakeholders and other business-wide stakeholders. They will implement and maintain Accounts Payable policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Define a KPI suite to track the performance of key transactional processes and P2P financial metrics, setting agreed targets and thresholds, and driving mitigating actions for any areas predicted to deviate from thresholds.
  • Agree SLAs with the Senior Leadership team (SLT), including key heads within the Finance team and other key business stakeholders.
  • Lead a scalable and lean Finance Operations team using efficient processes and automation to ensure best-in-class service while maintaining a sufficient but low growth cost base.
  • Work on continuous improvements and other finance projects as required.
  • Develop and support the team through continuous improvement.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders across functions.
  • Experience delivering in an agile, fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using data and KPI dashboards to understand performance and make recommendations for change.
  • Experience in root cause analysis and resolution.
