Job Description

Job Title: Apprentice- General Engineering

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Engineering Manager to join our team at PROMAN. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the maintenance, modification, and improvement of equipment in our manufacturing facility to maximize productivity and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the maintenance and repair of production line equipment, including multi-head weighers, VFFS bagging machines, and conveyors.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase line OEE and prevent downtime.
  • Manage and improve electrical control systems to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Project manage capital asset installations and maintenance activities.
  • Perform general maintenance and building repairs as required.
  • Manage and order engineering spares to ensure optimal equipment performance.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP and 16th Edition qualification.
  • Experience with PPMs and electrical systems.
  • Excellent project management and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
