Leaders in Care: Clinical Lead Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to take on the role of Clinical Lead at our care home in Watford. This exciting opportunity offers a rewarding career path for a nursing professional looking to make a difference in the lives of our residents.

About the Role:

As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for providing specialist nursing support and advice to ensure the highest standard of care for our residents. You will work closely with our Home Manager to ensure the effective management of resident care and the supervision of nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing specialist nursing support and advice to ensure the highest standard of care for our residents.
  • Working closely with the Home Manager to ensure the effective management of resident care.
  • Supervising and coaching nursing staff to provide unparalleled service.
  • Mentoring and sharing knowledge with colleagues to improve practice and standards.
  • Delivering a person-centred approach to care for residents and their families.
  • Recognising signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and knowing how to report concerns.

Requirements:

  • A valid Pin number as a Registered Nurse.
  • Understanding of the standards of practice set by the NMC.
  • Possession of a passion for mentoring and sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  • Ability to recognise the signs of possible abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to report concerns.
