The Mattinson Partnership is seeking a highly skilled Circular Economy Manager to join our Sustainability Team. As a key member of the team, you will report directly to the Head of Carbon, Energy & Sustainability.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone seeking a role in the public sector with a clear pathway of career progression. As a Circular Economy Manager, you will work closely with the waste supply chain and internal waste producers to ensure all relevant waste management licenses and paperwork are in place and maintained.

We are looking for someone with a good knowledge of the waste and resource industry and wider sustainability issues. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in waste management/recycling and be excited to implement waste management best practices and recycling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the waste supply chain and internal waste producers to ensure all relevant waste management licenses and paperwork are in place and maintained.
  • Develop and implement waste management best practices and recycling initiatives.
  • Collaborate with the Sustainability Team to achieve our sustainability goals.

Requirements:

  • At least 3 years of experience in waste management/recycling.
  • Good knowledge of the waste and resource industry and wider sustainability issues.
  • Chartered Environmentalist/Waste Manager (ideally).
