Project Manager - Civil Infrastructure

We are working with a well-established national contractor with a proven track record of delivering major projects within the UK and Europe. Due to winning a significant datacentre project in South Wales, they have an opportunity for a Project Manager to oversee the civil infrastructure on the project.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing site staff, sub-contractors, and operatives, as well as producing RAMS and project management plans. They will also be responsible for monitoring contract costs against agreed budgets, preparing programmes of works, and managing design co-ordination and the timely completion of contracts.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage site staff, sub-contractors, and operatives.
  2. Produce RAMS and project management plans.
  3. Monitor contract costs against agreed budgets.
  4. Prepare programmes of works.
  5. Manage design co-ordination and the timely completion of contracts.
Requirements:
  1. Significant experience in the civils sector working for a main contractor and specifically within groundworks and remediation.
  2. Proven track record with a PM or Senior PM capacity.
  3. SMSTS, Temp Work Coordinator, and CSCS qualifications.
  4. Knowledge of NEC contracts and ICE membership would be advantageous.
  5. Good commercial knowledge.
