Material Handling Sales Professional

We are seeking an experienced Key Account Manager to join our team at the KION Group. As a Material Handling Sales Professional, you will be responsible for managing the sales process for forklift trucks and other material handling equipment to our customers in the North Region.
With a competitive salary of £45,000 per annum, plus an annual bonus and benefits package, this is an excellent opportunity to take your career to the next level. You will work from home, managing your own diary and making sales calls to existing and potential clients. This is a field-based position, requiring travel throughout the UK to cover site surveys and customer visits.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues. You will also need to be self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently, with a strong focus on delivering results and exceeding targets.
About the Role
As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and revenue within your territory. You will work closely with branches in the region to execute action plans and increase sales, while maintaining excellent communications with key stakeholders in our business.
You will also be responsible for building up a network of contacts and customers, while managing existing customer relationships and developing business plans to meet their needs.
Responsibilities
- Manage the sales process for forklift trucks and other material handling equipment to customers in the North Region.
- Work from home, managing your own diary and making sales calls to existing and potential clients.
- Travel throughout the UK to cover site surveys and customer visits.
- Build up a network of contacts and customers, while managing existing customer relationships and developing business plans to meet their needs.
- Work closely with branches in the region to execute action plans and increase sales.
Requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently, with a strong focus on delivering results and exceeding targets.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to interpret information, with a strong understanding of the material handling industry.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a sales or field environment, with a proven track record of success.
