Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Aquatic Instructor Specialist to join our team at Bourne. This role will involve delivering high-quality swimming lessons, contributing to the growth and success of our swim school, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Teaching and Instruction: Plan and deliver engaging and educational swimming lessons to children and adults, following our curriculum and guidelines from relevant national governing bodies.
- Customer Service: Provide warm and welcoming interactions with customers, building relationships and trust, and ensuring a high standard of customer care.
- Safety and Health: Maintain a safe teaching environment, adhering to health and safety procedures, and ensuring compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act.
- Program Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of new programs and services, identifying opportunities for improvement and innovation.
- Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals, participating in training events and meetings as required.
Requirements
- A relevant qualification in swimming instruction or education
- Experience in teaching swimming to children and adults
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
Salary and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including access to ongoing training and development opportunities, a comprehensive pension scheme, and generous holiday entitlement.
Location
This role is based at our Bourne center, with opportunities to work across multiple locations within the area.
