We are seeking a skilled Pipelines Technician to join our Network Maintenance team in Yorkshire. As a Pipelines Technician, you will be responsible for undertaking plant protection activities on NGNs >2 pipe network and maintenance on NGN's cathodic protection systems and associated assets across the area.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake or participate in plant inspection
- Maintain accurate records of activities to satisfy Maintenance and Capital Projects, NGN, third party and legislative requirements
- Work towards all perimetry requirements and procedures affecting the NGN network
- Undertake maintenance activities on cathodic protection systems and repair and re-place components
- Have experience working in a gas network and an understanding of pipeline operations
- Responsible for attending and monitoring 3rd party and in house works in and around HP and IP pipelines
- Use IT in the field for work reporting
- Capable of planning your own activities with strong problem solving and analytical thinking skills
- Hold a full UK driving licence
- Bonus + Incentives + Overtime + Standby + Van
- 25 days holiday per year, plus 8 days bank holiday, plus 2 half days (Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve)
- Statutory Sick Pay for first 7 calendar days then Occupational sick pay thereafter
