Job Description

Defence is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing quality assurance processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures.
  • Inspect precision components from in-house manufacture/assembly, sub-contractors, and suppliers.
  • Create and develop CMM programs using PC-DMIS for new and legacy components.
  • Conduct first article inspection (FAI) reporting for single-level parts and multi-level assemblies.
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this role is £65,000 - £85,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Defence offers a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, pension scheme, and generous holiday entitlement.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field required.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in quality assurance and precision inspection.
  • Strong knowledge of CMM programming and operation.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
