Job Summary:

We are seeking an organized and capable Transport Logistics Coordinator to support the day-to-day operations of our global business. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for communicating effectively with 3rd party suppliers and drivers, responding to queries to optimize service levels and vehicle performance, and taking appropriate steps to effectively respond to ad hoc and internal/external inquiries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a high level of communication internally and externally to ensure all delivery/loading times are achieved.
  • Ensure all operational issues are dealt with appropriately, informing relevant parties immediately as required and ensuring that all changes are in the system.
  • Update and advise any required references or booking information to the relevant operations departments and update the system accurately and on time.
  • Execute daily operational works while ensuring financial impact to the business is understood.
  • Maintain and understand of 3rd party requirements ensuring the allocation of work is aligned with potential financial earning guarantees.
  • Check all transits have arrived as planned and communicate any anomalies to the relevant department to mitigate delays and communicate non-shipments for appropriate action.

Requirements:

  • Logistical background experience in a similar role.
  • Experience of working with third party logistics and service partners.
