MEP Project Manager Job Description

Ilerwork is seeking an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee and coordinate construction projects in Texas. This role involves developing new facilities, expansions, renovations, and alterations, collaborating with project teams, construction sites, and management to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee quality projects being built on time and within budget.
  • Review various reports to determine project status and determine actions required.
  • Conduct pre-job planning meetings and document meeting results.
  • Establish and execute subcontracts and equipment buy-outs to support schedules and budgets.
  • Communicate project issues to the appropriate level of management in a timely manner.
  • Assemble and review project estimates and ensure proper loading of numbers into the project cost system.
  • Prepare and submit monthly contract billings to ensure proper cash flow.
  • Manage conflict resolution with customers, vendors, trades, or partners.
  • Identify and develop policies and procedures for continuous aggressive improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Sciences, Mechanical Engineering, or similar engineering degree.
  • 5+ years of MEP project management experience.
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Able to demonstrate initiative and a proactive approach.

Additional Information:

Salary: $130,000-$140,000 per year. Employment type: Full-time.
