The successful candidate will also support the Head of Procurement in managing and developing the procurement team.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead on sourcing, tendering, and quotation exercises
* Manage contract management activities with key suppliers
* Lead on contract management activities with key suppliers
* Manage members of the purchasing team
* Work closely with stakeholders to make efficiencies and cost savings

Requirements:

* Experience of completing end-to-end procurement projects
* Working knowledge of public sector procurement (PCR2015)
* Experience of working on multiple procurement projects at once
* Ability to prioritize workload and maintain robust stakeholder relationships
* Experience of working across either the Clinical or ICT category
