About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Novus Property Solutions. As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will play a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of our Social Housing Planned Works programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation, processing, and selection of estimates, bids, and tenders to demanding timescales.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure the best value for our clients.
  • Prepare and monitor cash flow forecasts for designated projects.
  • Submit monthly applications for payment to clients and ensure timely receipt of payments.
  • Value and authorise payments to subcontractors.
  • Liaise with Contract Managers to establish project specifications and requirements.
  • Attend and contribute to meetings with colleagues and clients to build relationships and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
  • Monitor contract progress, assess, and report any changes that may affect project costs and timelines.
  • Assist in the control of contract budgets.
About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in Social Housing and refurbishment. You will have excellent knowledge of JCT and Measure Term Contracts, as well as strong IT skills and proficiency in MS Office. A full UK driving licence is also essential for this role.
