About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled E-Commerce Strategist to join our team at AXIOM HOSPITALITY LIMITED. As an E-Commerce Strategist, you will play a critical role in supporting our Head of Marketing & Brand and the Commercial and Hotel Teams in delivering the revenue forecasted for our portfolio of hotels by implementing a solid E-Commerce strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and Optimizing Digital Platforms

You will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing all our hotels' digital platforms and listings, ensuring they are up-to-date and accurately reflect our brand's image.

Overseeing Website Functionality and User Experience

You will oversee the functionality and user experience of our hotels' websites and channels, ensuring they are user-friendly and provide a seamless experience for our guests.

Driving Conversions through Campaigns

You will drive conversions through campaigns and targeted digital initiatives, using data analytics to measure performance and inform future decisions.

Managing Multimedia Content

You will manage the production and performance of multimedia content, including images, videos, and other digital assets.

Maintaining Website Analytics

You will maintain website analytics, tracking data to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.

Monitoring Digital Budgets

You will monitor and allocate digital budgets, ensuring we are getting the best return on investment for our marketing efforts.

Monitoring Marketing Campaigns

You will monitor the performance of marketing campaigns, using data analytics to measure success and inform future decisions.

Conducting Research and Analysis

You will conduct research and analysis to identify and define audiences, using data to inform marketing strategies.

Managing PPC and Programmatic Advertising

You will manage pay-per-click (PPC) and programmatic advertising with our appointed digital agency, ensuring we are getting the best return on investment for our marketing efforts.

Evaluating and Reviewing Marketing Campaigns

You will evaluate and review marketing campaigns, advertising, and SEO to ensure we are using the correct mediums and achieving strong ROI.

Preparing Monthly Reports

You will prepare monthly reports on marketing activities, including detailed performance statistics.

Understanding the Wider Hotel Business

You will have a thorough understanding of the wider hotel business, including our commercial strategy and promotions.

Understanding the Market

You will have a solid understanding of the market, including competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, supply and demand.

Requirements
  • Minimum 3 Years Marketing Experience

You will have a minimum of 3 years marketing experience in a hotel or hospitality-related business.

Qualifications in E-Commerce and Digital Marketing

Qualifications in E-Commerce and Digital Marketing are preferred, but not required.

Experience in Developing Marketing Plans

You will have experience in developing detailed marketing plans and campaigns, including project management skills, briefing, planning, and execution.

In-Depth Understanding of Digital Marketing

You will have an in-depth understanding of digital marketing and performance metrics.

Experience in Programmatic, Meta, and Native Online Advertising

You will have experience in programmatic, meta, and native online advertising.

Working Knowledge of Digital Marketing Techniques

You will have a working knowledge of digital marketing techniques, including paid social media, application of social media channels, use of customer communication channels, including email and website management.

Ability to Identify Specific Action Steps

You will be able to identify specific action steps, accountabilities, and timelines for workload, including being able to hold self-accountable for achieving results.

Adaptability and Ability to Juggle Multiple Projects

You will be adaptable and able to juggle multiple projects, prioritizing tasks and managing your time effectively.

Strong Organisation and Planning Skills

You will have strong organisation and planning skills, including the ability to plan and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Ability to Act Independently

You will be able to act independently to improve and increase your skills and knowledge.
