Hales Group Limited is seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the grounds of our client’s site in Felixstowe, ensuring a safe and clean environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:- Control and remove vegetation growth using chemicals and mechanical equipment.
- Cleanse areas managed by our client, including litter clearance, furniture removal, and collection of materials.
- Operate hand tools and mechanical equipment to clear vegetation and maintain site cleanliness.
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure the well-being of employees and members of the public.
- Report accidents and incidents as required, and maintain records of spraying schedules.
- Perform other related duties as required to support the provision of the service.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of health and safety procedures, including IOSH and COSHH. They will also be able to work independently and as part of a team, with a focus on delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
