Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Fitter/Welder to join our team at NACCO Industries, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for troubleshooting, routine maintenance, and repairs of mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. This role involves working on draglines, coal shovels, and facilities, as well as operating support equipment such as boom trucks, welding trucks, and forklifts.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual with a passion for welding and mechanical maintenance. As a Maintenance Fitter/Welder, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our equipment and processes.

About the Role:

  • Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failure
  • Operate support equipment such as boom trucks, welding trucks, and forklifts
  • Work collaboratively with other teams to achieve business objectives

Requirements:

  • Working knowledge of all phases of welding, cutting, air arcing, grinding, and understanding of metal properties
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work outdoors in extreme weather conditions

Compensation Package:

The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary of $31.28 per hour, paid time off, paid holidays, medical insurance, 401K & Company Match, and intern fees paid.
