Job Title: Commissioning Nursing Home Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commissioning Nursing Home Manager to lead our nursing home through periods of change and new commissioning, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance.

About the Role

As a Commissioning Nursing Home Manager, you will be responsible for providing dynamic leadership to ensure residents receive top-tier, person-centred care. You will drive the day-to-day operations of the home, including team leadership, budgeting, and full regulatory compliance. You will also implement robust systems for quality assurance and lead continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the nursing home team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve the quality of care and services provided to residents.
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursing home, including budgeting, staffing, and regulatory compliance.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Champion a culture of inclusion, diversity, and equality across the nursing home.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with active NMC registration (RGN, RMN, or RNLD).
  • Demonstrable experience in successfully managing and transforming nursing homes with high CQC ratings.
  • Strong leadership, strategic management, and communication skills.
  • Deep understanding of CQC regulations and compliance frameworks.
  • Experience in commissioning new homes is highly desirable.
