We are recruiting freelance interpreters to work with various public and private organisations across the UK, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other sectors. Our company, Language Empire, has been providing professional interpreting and translation services for over 20 years, covering hundreds of languages and dialects.
As a freelance interpreter, you will be responsible for listening to, understanding, and reproducing speech into the target language with 100% accuracy. You will interpret for people using legal, health, and local government services, and liaise between service users and providers.
Requirements include being fluent in English and another language, having the right to work in the UK, and being aged 21 or over. Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages are advantageous.
