About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Pensions Implementation Consultant to join our team at Capita Pensions Solutions. As a key member of our Configuration Pension Implementation Team, you will be responsible for delivering first-class pension administration solutions to our clients. With a strong background in pension scheme management, you will have experience working on large-scale pension projects, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with clients to understand their requirements, data, processes, and systems, and provide recommendations on implementing our products and services.
• Conduct system demonstrations for existing and prospective clients, showcasing the capabilities of our solutions.
• Undertake project management activities, including risk and issue identification and mitigation, to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Identify, collate, and document scheme and product information, ensuring accurate and up-to-date knowledge of our offerings.
• Review existing business processes and establish new operating procedures as required, promoting efficient and effective practices.
• Conduct system configuration and testing quality control activities, including requirements documentation peer review, to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Support the technical development of our technology platforms through analysis and design, specification production, and participation in new and enhanced developments.
• Communicate with prospective clients to support the sales and procurement process, promoting our solutions and services.
• Develop strategies for improving transition and change processes, services, and standards, driving continuous improvement within our organization.
• Provide support to your line manager in managing staff under their direct control, promoting a culture of teamwork and collaboration.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in leading projects and managing/mentoring teams, with a strong track record of delivering results.
• In-depth knowledge of UK pension schemes, including DB, DC, CARE, and Annuities, with a detailed understanding of system and process implications.
• Ability to explain pension member records, relationships between members, Trustees, schemes, actuaries, funds, and investments, different types of pension schemes, member status, and applicable calculations.
• Familiarity with regulatory bodies and their roles in the pension sector, with a strong understanding of system setup and parameter usage.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in drafting automated calculators, using filters, sorting, pivot tables, lookups, and formatting cells to specific guidelines.
• Good Microsoft Access skills and ability to produce specifications based on client requirements.
