About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Financial Controller to join our team at Blair West Limited. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for leading a small team and playing a crucial part in the company's growth and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a small finance team with day-to-day responsibility for the finance function.
  • Ownership of the consolidated Group management accounts and legal entity management accounts within the Group globally.
  • Drive the annual business plan process and monthly business re-forecast.
  • Monthly overhead cost review ensuring effective cost management.
  • Balance sheet control and working capital management.
  • Business case investment appraisals.
  • Treasury management.
  • Lead on year-end audit, preparation of statutory accounts for the Group and subsidiaries prepared under full IFRS.
  • Tax compliance and preparation of tax computations.
  • Input into improvement of Group's controls and business processes ensuring integrity, accuracy and transparency of the systems.
  • Continuous improvement of financial processes driving automation and streamlining of business processes.
  • Provide support to the CFO on various ad-hoc projects.
Requirements
  • A qualified Accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA).
  • Ambitious and willing to take ownership and solve problems.
  • Flexible with your approach to support business requirements.
  • Strong at communicating and liaising with other departments and external stakeholders.
  • Organised with an attention to detail.
  • Good with your IT skills.
