Job Title: Resistant Materials Expert

Academics Ltd is seeking an experienced and skilled teacher of Design Technology to take on the role of Resistant Materials Expert.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of Resistant Materials at KS3 and KS4, ensuring engaging, creative, and challenging lessons for all learners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead on the development and delivery of Resistant Materials at KS3 and KS4.
  • Assist with departmental planning, assessment, and resource management, fostering a culture of excellence.
  • Inspire, mentor, and support other teachers within the team, contributing to their professional development.
  • Play an active role in whole-school initiatives and the wider Design Technology community.
Requirements
  • A qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent) with a strong track record of success in teaching Design Technology.
  • Expertise and passion for Resistant Materials, with the ability to deliver high-quality, practical, and theoretical lessons.
  • A commitment to promoting a love of learning and fostering creativity in all students.

The salary for this position is approximately £40,000-£50,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
