Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SEMH Teacher to join our team at GSL Education. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and a genuine interest in supporting pupils with SEMH needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality education to pupils with SEMH needs
  • Develop and implement creative lesson plans to engage pupils
  • Work closely with teaching assistants to implement interventions and support pupil progress
  • Conduct formative and summative assessments to inform teaching and learning
  • Provide outstanding levels of safeguarding and pastoral care

Requirements

  • Hold a degree and QTS
  • Be available for work Monday to Friday
  • Have a strong passion for phonics and reading
  • Be proactive, energetic, kind, and caring
  • Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to undergo the process
  • Have a full checkable work history
