Job Overview

This role involves gaining exposure to the full month-end process and assisting the Management Accountant with additional projects. The successful candidate will be involved in transactional finance duties and will have the opportunity to work on various tasks, including bank reconciliations, balance sheet reconciliations, and ad-hoc reporting to the Management Accountant.


Key Responsibilities
  • Bank Reconciliations: Reconciling bank statements and ensuring accuracy.
  • Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Reconciling balance sheets and identifying any discrepancies.
  • Preparation for Monthly Management Accounts: Assisting with preparation of monthly management accounts and reviewing trial balances.
  • Purchase and Sales Ledger Support: Providing support with purchase and sales ledger tasks when required.
  • Ad-Hoc Reporting: Providing ad-hoc reports to the Management Accountant as needed.

Requirements
  • Part AAT Qualified or Part-Qualified CIMA or ACCA: Must have Part AAT qualification or be part-qualified CIMA or ACCA.
  • Transactional Finance Experience: Must have good experience in transactional finance.
  • Month-End Process Experience: Must have proven experience of helping with the month-end process.
