Field Service Engineer - Garforth, Leeds

Are you a skilled engineer or mechanic looking to advance your career?

This exciting opportunity will focus on the servicing, maintenance, and repair of forklift trucks in a field-based position.

Field Service Engineers are responsible for the maintenance and repairs of our growing fleet of forklifts at customer sites across the UK.

We are looking for someone to:

  • Fault diagnosis, repair, and routine maintenance of forklift trucks
  • Ensure all repairs are completed to a high standard, following procedures and health and safety guidelines
  • Support our long-standing customer base
  • Demonstrate good product knowledge gained from experience working on forklift trucks, IC engines, brake systems, hydraulics, and electrics
  • You can have experience in agricultural or construction equipment as many material handling equipment work in a similar way

To be successful in this position, you will:

  • Have previous experience in a similar role
  • Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Have strong organisational skills with attention to detail and ability to multitask and prioritise workloads
  • Product training will be provided
  • All candidates will need to demonstrate they have the Right to Work in the UK
  • A clean driving license is highly desirable
