Warehouse Operative Opportunity

We are seeking a motivated and driven individual to join our team as a Warehouse Operative. As a key member of our distribution team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service by accurately receiving and sorting parcels into correct postcodes.
  • Ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout your shift, maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling a wide range of items sold.
  • Lift and move products up to 23kg in weight, utilizing proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
  • Utilize a pick sheet and hand-held scanner to efficiently manage inventory and track orders.
  • Ensure goods are properly prepared for dispatch, meeting tight deadlines and quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues, providing clear and concise information to ensure seamless operations.
  • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a safe working environment for yourself and others.
Shifts and Compensation:

We offer a range of shifts to accommodate different schedules, including:

  • 6am-12pm, 6am-2pm, 10pm-6am
  • £13.50 for day shifts
  • £15.66 for night shifts
  • Overtime rates: £20.27 per hour for 40-50 hours, £27 per hour for 50-60 hours (day shifts); £23.49 per hour for 40-50 hours, £31.32 per hour for 50-60 hours (night shifts)

We also offer new shifts with varying hours, including:

  • 6am-12.30pm (30 hours per week)
  • 12.30pm-8pm (35 hours per week)
  • 4pm-9pm (16 hours per week)
  • 2.30am-11am (40 hours per week)
  • 4pm-11pm (full-time, 5/7 days, with a requirement to work Mondays)
