Facilities Operations Manager

Avrenim Group is seeking a highly skilled Facilities Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth delivery of our facilities management services.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage the recruitment, organization, and performance of all staff employed within your control.
- Ensure that the engineering and passive fire teams operate within Avrenim's financial and budgetary controls.
- Champion performance improvement and customer service.
- Support business development in identifying and securing suitable contracts.
- Coordinate all activities within the contracts under your control, in order to maximize returns and ensure high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure that Health, Safety, and Sustainability is at the forefront of the operational delivery of the contracts.
- Ensure the required capabilities are assembled and coordinated effectively.
- Manage all commercial and contractual issues through contract life.
- Maintain consistent, high-level links with senior Customer Interfaces.
- Ensure that Avrenim is visible and market leading within the area.
- Provide positive leadership and contribution to the strategic direction, performance, and growth of the business.
- Undertake any reasonable request made by the company or management.
- Ensure that all Operational teams successfully deliver to both Avrenim and the customer in line with the agreed time, cost, quality, design, and safety measures, including undertaking regular site reviews and, where necessary, acting to identify and mitigate actual and/or potential problems.
- Utilize theoretical knowledge to solve problems in developed technologies using well-proven analytical techniques.
- Successfully apply knowledge to assist in delivering engineering projects or services using established technologies and methods.
- Take responsibility for engineering projects and financial planning and management together with some responsibility for leading and developing other professional staff.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills in communicating technical matters.
- Commit to professional engineering values.
- Embrace innovation and support the team in implementation or assessment of innovation.
- Have technical accountability for complex systems with significant levels of risk and impact to Avrenim, Clients, or the environment.
- Deliver innovative products and services and take technical responsibility for complex engineering systems.
- Manage trade-offs between technical, commercial, and impact to systems or buildings.
- Understand the leadership and motivation of technical teams.
- Embed the philosophy of Performance, Improvement, and Management to all employees within Avrenim technical staff to ensure that everyone is focused on continuously improving both what they do and the way that they do it.
- Understand the Client and Business requirements, and support and deliver solutions to meet and exceed needs contributing to the satisfaction of customer objectives.
- Ensure compliance with all statutory engineering, HTM, and relevant company and client policies are followed.
- Support and lead in the provision of technical support to business incidents and failures during business hours and outside business hours on-call as required.
- Develop maximum profitable growth of the business through understanding client needs, maximizing the services delivered, and championing excellent customer care.
- Lead, recruit, develop, and retain staff to deliver services in the most efficient and effective manner.
- Follow any reasonable management instruction.
