Childcare Specialist

Bright Horizons Clapham Day Nursery and Preschool is seeking a motivated and experienced Nursery Practitioner to join our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a talented group of professionals, delivering high-quality childcare services in a well-resourced setting.

About the Role:

You will be responsible for planning and implementing engaging activities, promoting child welfare and ensuring compliance with safeguarding procedures. Our ideal candidate will be a qualified Early Years Practitioner with a passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, create, and implement engaging activities tailored to each child's needs.
• Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health and safety, and safeguarding procedures and policies are followed at all times.

Requirements:

• Full and relevant Level 2/3+ or above Early Years qualification (essential).
• Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, Nursery Assistant, or similar).
• Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child.
• Ability to use a variety of techniques to clearly and successfully communicate with both children and adults.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children.
