About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Lead Software Engineer to join our team at developrec. As a Lead Software Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of software engineers, owning the technical roadmap, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of software engineers, providing technical guidance and support.
  • Technical Roadmap: Own and drive the technical roadmap, setting technical direction and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Software Delivery: Ensure the delivery of high-quality software, adhering to best practices and standards.
  • Team Motivation and Performance: Foster a high-performing team culture, motivating and developing team members to achieve their full potential.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Product and DevOps functions to ensure seamless collaboration and delivery.
  • Agile Practices: Drive Agile practices and ensure the team is working in an Agile environment.

Requirements:

  • Cloud Technologies: Experience with cloud technologies, specifically Azure.
  • CI/CD: Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • High-Performing Software Team: Experience working in a high-performing software team with applications that have had a large user base.
  • Tech Agnostic: Tech-agnostic, with experience working in a variety of technologies and environments.
  • Agile Environment: Experience working in an Agile environment.
  • Customer-Centric: Experience driving software products with a customer-centric approach.

What We Offer:

  • Salary: Up to £90,000 per annum.
  • Hybrid Working: 2 days per week in Cardiff, with the option to work remotely.
  • Performance-Based Bonus: 10% performance-based bonus.
