Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Engineer to join our team at CDS, a Hewlett Packard Enterprise company. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing server hardware support across a multi-vendor environment, including HPE and Dell servers.

About the Role

The Data Center Engineer will be based in Lewisham and London Docklands, working on-site 24/7, 365 days a year. You will be responsible for delivering solutions within named accounts, installations, maintenance, and repairs on customer equipment. Additionally, you will be required to install, terminate, and test all data centre interlink cabling.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide server hardware support across a multi-vendor environment.
  • Deliver solutions within named accounts.
  • Installations, maintenance, and repairs on customer equipment.
  • Installation, termination, and testing of all data centre interlink cabling.
Requirements
  • Strong knowledge of HPE Proliant, Blade servers & Dell Servers.
  • Experience of patch cabling in DC environment.
  • Good knowledge of Service Now (SNOW).
  • Sound knowledge of ESD working practice.
  • Sound knowledge of general Health & Safety.
Estimated Salary Range:

£55,000 - £65,000 per annum.
