Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Community Health and Care team. As a Community Staff Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care to adults and their families in their own homes or residential settings.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care under the direction of a Clinical Team Lead and District Nurse.
  • Work closely with health and social care professionals across primary care networks to prevent hospital admissions.
  • Provide skilled nursing care under the direction of the Senior Nurse, promoting a healthy lifestyle and independence where possible.
  • Supervise and delegate care provided by more junior staff, while maintaining accountability.
  • Recognize and escalate any concerns to the Senior Nurse.
  • Maintain records in accordance with First Community's policy and NMC Guidelines.
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse (RN1) qualification.
  • Practice Supervisor (PS) or willingness to complete PS development.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • IT skills.
  • Flexible, lateral thinker.
  • Reflective practitioner.
  • Proven ability to motivate others.
  • Able to work competently without supervision.
  • Responsible for own professional development.
  • Car Driver with a valid license to drive in the UK and business use insurance.
