Job Title: Critical Services Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Critical Services Technician to oversee the service and maintenance of critical plant systems within a data centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and servicing of critical plant equipment, responding to reactive maintenance calls, and troubleshooting any issues with the critical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform routine maintenance and servicing of critical plant equipment such as AHUs, FCUs, DFUs, CRAC units etc within the data centre.
  2. Respond to reactive maintenance calls and troubleshoot any issues with the critical systems.
  3. Liaise with other team members and management to ensure the continuous smooth operation of the plant.
  4. Conduct risk assessments and ensure all equipment meets health and safety requirements.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in critical plant maintenance, preferably within a data centre or similar environment.
  2. Relevant technical qualifications in mechanical/electrical engineering or building services.
  3. Strong understanding of critical systems and the ability to troubleshoot and maintain plant equipment.
  4. HVAP certification is desirable, with a £1k allowance upon approval.

What We Offer:

  1. Starting salary of £47,500, rising to £49,500 after successful completion of probation.
  2. £1k HVAP allowance upon onsite approval.
