Bioinformatics Leader

Cranleigh STEM, Sustainability & SHEQ Recruitment is seeking a Bioinformatics Leader to join their team in Edinburgh. This is a permanent position offering a competitive salary and company benefits.

As the Head of Computational Biology, you will play a key role as part of the Senior Leadership Team, shaping the strategic direction of bioinformatics efforts and driving data-driven decision-making. You will lead and manage the bioinformatics team, setting a clear strategic vision and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.

Key responsibilities include technical oversight, leadership and management, and collaboration and communication.

In terms of required skills and qualifications, you will need a Master's or PhD in Bioinformatics or a related field, with proven expertise in bioinformatics and genomic data analysis. You should also be proficient in programming languages such as Python, R, or Perl.

The estimated salary for this position is £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience.
