Nursery Manager Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Manager to join our team at My Little Kingdom Childminding. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in launching and managing our brand-new nursery, helping us to create a high-quality childcare environment that supports the growth and development of young children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and inspire a team of dedicated childcare professionals, fostering a supportive and collaborative working environment.
  • Plan and deliver a dynamic and engaging early years curriculum, ensuring every child receives the best care and education in line with EYFS standards.
  • Ensure the nursery is a safe, clean, and welcoming space, meeting all safeguarding, health, and safety regulations.
  • Help recruit the best team members, provide ongoing support, and promote professional development within your staff.
  • Build strong, trusting relationships with parents, making sure they feel informed and confident in the care their children are receiving.
  • Manage nursery budgets and resources, ensuring efficient operations and sustainable growth.
  • Play a part in promoting the nursery, developing creative marketing strategies, and establishing our presence in the local community.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 or higher qualification in Childcare/Early Years (NNEB, CACHE, or equivalent)
  • Experience as a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager, ideally with experience in setting up or managing a nursery
  • A strong understanding of EYFS and Ofsted regulations
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
  • Passionate about early childhood education and child development
  • Ability to manage budgets and business operations
  • Creative, driven, and excited to help us launch a successful nursery
