About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Apprentice Forklift Engineer to join our team at Grant Handling. As an Apprentice Forklift Engineer, you will work alongside experienced service engineers to learn all aspects of the service and repair of materials handling equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist experienced service engineers in the service and repair of materials handling equipment
  • Complete company documentation and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in hands-on engineering work, including maintenance and repair of equipment
  • Undertake college work to develop your skills and knowledge
  • Contribute to health and safety-related tasks and general housekeeping
Requirements
  • Good attitude to work and a driven, motivated approach
  • Excellent attendance and time-keeping record
  • Ability to learn complex engineering systems
  • Keen interest in the role and engineering in general
