About the Role

Clark Wood is a specialist recruitment consultancy operating throughout the United Kingdom within the Public Practice Accountancy & Tax sectors. Our core client base consists of Accountancy Practices ranging from Big 4, Top 10 & Mid-Tier firms through to independent regional firms and sole traders.

We are currently working with a progressive and established independent firm of chartered accountants in Glasgow who are now looking to grow their team through the addition of a bright and ambitious Accounts Semi Senior.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  2. Preparation of personal corporate tax computations and returns
  3. Preparation of corporate tax computations and returns
  4. Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT returns
  5. Liaising with clients to resolve queries where necessary
Requirements
  • AAT Qualified or ACA / ACCA Students
  • Practice experience essential
