Job Title: Health Visitor - Public Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Health Visitor to join our team as a Public Health Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and coordinating the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme within a 0-19 integrated public health team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage an assigned caseload and be responsible and accountable for this caseload
  • Deliver evidence-based packages of care to give Nottingham children the best start in life
  • Signpost families to other services to ensure that children, young people, and families have the support they require to meet their individual needs
  • Support the Clinical Service Leads and Managers to deliver an integrated service offer for children and young people aged 0 - 19 and their families
  • Work collegiately with other key partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality children's services throughout Nottingham City and across the 0-19 age range

Requirements:

  • 1st level Registration as a Registered Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visiting) or due to qualify as a Specialist Community Public Health Nurse (Health Visiting) in 2024
  • Experience of working with diverse or disadvantaged groups
  • Experience of working with children, families, and young people
  • Experience of working in partnership with key partners to safeguard children, young people, and vulnerable adults
