Lead Commissioning Engineer (Mechanical Bias)

Elevation Recruitment Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Biased Lead/Commissioning Engineer to join a leading manufacturer in Leeds.

Working Hours: Days only

Salary: Up to £39,000

The Lead/Commissioning Engineer will be responsible for commissioning installs on and off-site, carrying out routine/preventative and reactive maintenance, and responding to plant breakdowns.

Duties of the Commissioning Engineer will include:

  1. Ensuring commissioning records and results are up to date;
  2. Using engineering machines to remanufacture parts;
  3. Accurate reporting of mechanical breakdowns and spares used;
  4. Improving efficiency on existing machines.

We are looking for a Lead/Commissioning Engineer with the following qualifications:

  1. City & Guilds trained/qualified mechanical;
  2. Experience with the implementation of FAT and SAT's;
  3. Able to read electrical/mechanical/hydraulic/pneumatic technical drawings;
  4. Computer skills for recording/production of data;
  5. PLC would be desirable but not essential.

This role requires someone with an enthusiastic and flexible approach, able to work independently and self-manage their time during the working day.
