Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Executive Director to lead our Specialty business. The estimated salary for this role is £180,000 - £250,000 per annum.

About the Job

In this role, you will be responsible for setting the strategic direction of our Specialty business, ensuring underwriting quality, and driving the performance of product lines across the entire organisation. You will work closely with the Global Product Committee to develop and manage specific products to meet strategic goals.

Key responsibilities include creating annual business plans, producing product strategies, and discussing regulatory environments. You will also co-ordinate cross-platform deployment of capacity and determine which platform will be utilised by client and product type.

To succeed in this role, you will need a background in reinsurance, excellent organisational and prioritisation skills, and good negotiating skills. You will also be able to analyse and use data for decision making and manage people effectively.
