We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled Lab Technician to join our team at Recruitment Solutions (Folkestone) Ltd. in Folkestone, working on a long-term temporary basis.

The estimated salary for this role is £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.

This is an ideal position for individuals looking to gain experience within a quality control laboratory setting and to develop their skills in a supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To perform testing of Raw Materials, Semi-finished Goods, and Finished Goods produced within the organisation to the required standards.
  • To keep detailed and up-to-date lab notebooks.
  • To aid the validation and verification of new methods used within the QC Lab.
  • To work independently to carry out allocated tasks on a daily basis under instruction.
  • To support the review and update of lab procedures and test methods.

Requirements:

  • A science-related qualification and some lab experience are necessary.
  • Excellent planning, communication, and organisational skills are required.
  • A confident ability to work independently with minimum supervision and under stringent timelines.
