Patient Care Specialist

**Job Overview**
NHS Scotland is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Specialist to join our team in Ward 43.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient-focused care, with a focus on respiratory illnesses such as COPD, ILD, Lung CA, and Bronchiectasis.
We offer a competitive salary of £25,000 per annum, plus benefits.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Provide exceptional patient care and support the staff nurses and ward team.
- Fully supported in the induction of your role, allowing you to attend relevant training; you must also be committed to your own professional development.
- Assist in the safe transfer and discharge of patients in Ward 43, requiring appropriate communication with the relevant MDT and professionals outside of the hospital setting.
- Have knowledge of tissue viability with up-to-date training in this specialty.
**Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Dedicated and motivated individual with a caring nature.
- SVQ level 3 or working towards it.
- Ability to work effectively in a busy Acute Ward environment.
- Excellent communication skills.
