Financial Management Leader UK

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Management Leader to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a vital role in driving business growth and success.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have a deep understanding of financial management principles and practices, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality financial results. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing statutory and group financial reports, and ensuring compliance with UK tax laws.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare UK statutory and group financial reports.
- Manage the general ledger, ensuring proper classification of financial transactions.
- Ensure financial statements comply with UK tax laws, including VAT, corporation tax, and payroll taxes.
- Prepare and file VAT returns and corporation tax filings.
- Oversee payroll processing, ensuring compliance with UK employment law.
- Manage interactions with HMRC and other UK tax authorities.
- Prepare for external audits, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place.
- Identify discrepancies in financial records and resolve accounting issues promptly.
- Assist in budget preparation and forecasting, analysing financial data to support local and group management.
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or UK accounting qualifications (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- 3-7 years of experience in accounting and consolidation roles.
- Experience with NetSuite or similar ERP is a plus.
- Strong understanding of UK tax law and UK GAAP and IFRS.
- Strong analytical skills combined with a problem-solving attitude.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and precise with a high degree of integrity in financial reporting.
- Capable of working in a fast-growing and dynamic environment.
In return for your expertise and dedication, we offer a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, as well as a range of benefits including:
