Key Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution
Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to define product and project requirements, and plan projects down to the task level, including defining task deliverables, duration, dependencies, and owner(s).
Project Coordination and ManagementCoordinate across projects to identify interdependencies, resource conflicts, critical path(s), and opportunities to improve project schedules, and manage project execution, including holding regular meetings and communicating with project and task owners to update task status.
Reporting and AnalysisGenerate reports, including project progress vs schedule and high-level metrics, and analyze data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Process ImprovementEvaluate and improve project management processes, including configuring project management tools and defining task updating process, to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
Risk ManagementIdentify top risk items, formulate mitigation plans, and escalate issues as needed to ensure project success.
Executive BriefingsBrief executives on project status and recommend actions to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Education
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
Experience10+ years of experience in engineering management, including 3+ years of experience in technical program management, preferably in a related industry.
SkillsExtensive experience in product development planning and providing leadership, ability to evaluate product performance metrics, diagnose and resolve issues, and keep up with advancements in the field of technical product development.
