Position Overview

As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and delivering insightful reports, visualizations, and dashboards. You will collaborate closely with software engineers and designers to create innovative solutions that leverage data from traffic management systems and other sources.

Essential Responsibilities
  • Define the technological vision and strategy for big data analysis within our traffic management solutions.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver end-to-end products, encompassing the entire lifecycle from ideation to implementation. This includes collecting and analyzing data, exploring algorithmic approaches, developing, testing, validating, and integrating algorithms into production environments.
  • Develop machine learning models that utilize data from traffic management sensors and diverse data sources.
  • Possess experience working with large datasets and familiarity with distributed computing frameworks (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Apache Spark, etc.) is a plus.
  • Create advanced data reporting capabilities and visualizations by integrating multiple data sources to gain comprehensive insights into photo enforcement programs.
  • Provide architectural expertise and guidance to Business Analysts and software development teams.
  • Conduct research on emerging technologies relevant to systems development and recommend solutions that enhance cost-effectiveness and system flexibility.
  • Interface with internal and external technical resources, collaborating with Project Managers, vendors, and IT stakeholders to develop implementation plans for analytics initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science.
  • Proficiency in scripting/programming languages is a bonus (Python, R, Java, JavaScript, Scala, etc.).
  • Essential SQL skills (MSSQL, Postgres, BigQuery, Redshift).
