We are looking for an exceptional senior German instructor to join our team at Wellington College. As a senior member of our MFL department, you will play a key role in shaping the curriculum and delivering high-quality language lessons to our students.

Responsibilities will include conducting oral lessons in German for pupils in years 10 to 13, working with small groups of bilingual or native-speaker students to help them prepare for public examinations, and supporting the teaching of German at all levels by helping pupils to develop their oral fluency.

The ideal candidate will have native-speaker level fluency in spoken German, a strong understanding of language learning principles, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. If you have a passion for teaching and a commitment to excellence, we encourage you to apply.

Job Description:

Teaching Duties

You will be responsible for delivering high-quality language lessons to students from years 10-13, helping them prepare for public examinations.

You will also work with small groups of bilingual or native-speaker students to support their language development.

Additionally, you will contribute to the planning and delivery of extra-curricular activities offered by the German department.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Native-speaker level fluency in spoken German
  • Extensive knowledge of German grammar
