Homecare Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Homecare Assistant to join our team in Leek. As a Homecare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional care and support to our clients in their own homes.

About the Role

In this rewarding role, you will work on a one-to-one basis with clients, providing support and companionship to enhance their quality of life. You will be responsible for aiding with daily activities, including personal care tasks, and assisting with light household chores and meal preparation.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Providing emotional support and companionship to clients
  • Aiding with daily activities, including personal care tasks
  • Assisting with light household chores and meal preparation
  • Transporting clients to appointments and social events
Requirements
  • No prior experience necessary; comprehensive training provided
  • Valid full driver's licence and reliable transportation
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Salary and Benefits

£12.50 - £13.50 per hour, dependent on qualifications and experience, plus benefits package including mileage reimbursement and flexible working hours
